Origami Forest

Both Finland and Japan are countries famous for their paper expertise. Finland for long tradition in paper and forest industries, Japan for innovative paper applications and unique role of paper in Japanese culture.

When Japanese paper manufacturing company Nippon Paper Group and Finnish paper mill Jujo Thermal Kauttua merged, new ownership wanted to communicate about partnership in a memorable way, paying respect to both cultures. Karu Agency realised a concept of origami bird resting in a Finland forest and lake landscape.
